Discipleship
(noun) [dɪˈsaɪplʃɪp]
The process for developing self-initiating, reproducing, fully devoted followers of Christ.
What is Christian Discipleship and why is it important?
God’s desire for every believer is to be conformed into the image of His son, Jesus Christ. In discipling relationships, we walk alongside each other in order to encourage, equip, and challenge one another in love to grow toward maturity in Christ ((Ogden, Transforming Discipleship) As we are growing in our relationship with Christ, we want to take what we are learning and reproduce that in others.
