Chicken Pot Pie, Waldorf Salad, Red Velvet Cake
“Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts.” Acts 2:46
The early church regularly engaged in fellowship with one another. Is it possible that we have lost sight of the importance of regularly practicing this fellowship? Community is life-giving and essential to following Christ. We believe it is important for all of us to rest and rediscover the joys of being a church family.
In an effort to allow more time for fellowship and more access for a wider variety of people, we have restructured our dinner time to go from 5:30 – 6:30pm. This will be a great time to meet new people, gather with your Small Group, or gather your fellow Choir and Praise Team Members. Our new kitchen crew will prepare a home-cooked, affordable meal that will keep you excited for Wednesday night dinner each week!
It is no secret that Christ Church is focused on making disciple-making disciples. As we seek to follow Jesus and learn to walk in His ways, belonging to a discipleship group helps us build community with one another and grow as His disciples. We desire to create a time where discipling relationships can thrive as we pursue God’s presence this fall and beyond. Discipleship groups at Christ Church are not only about deepening our understanding of God and His word, but also about experiencing a longing to know and serve Him. We believe God is revealed through study and relationship. We are transformed through His word, and we are transformed through relationships. Discipleship groups are both/and – they foster relationship as we grow in our knowledge of Him.
