Back-to-School Celebration & Parent Summit

Join us on Sunday, August 10 for a special morning as we bless the new school year! During both worship services (8:15 & 10:45), we’ll pray over all students, teachers, and school system staff. Kids—bring your backpacks for a special moment of prayer and encouragement!

During the Sunday School hour at 9:30 AM, K–5th graders will celebrate the start of a new school year with a fun Pop-Up Party! At the same time, all parents and guardians of children from birth through 5th grade are invited to the Parent Summit in the Gathering Area. We’ll enjoy a light breakfast, share exciting updates for Christ Kids, walk through our discipleship plan, and talk about how we’ll partner with you to equip and encourage your child’s faith journey. Don’t miss it!

Here's a snapshot of what to expect:

• Worship Services at 8:15 & 10:45 a.m.

  • Special time of prayer over all students, teachers, and school staff

  • Kids: Bring your backpacks for a blessing!

• Sunday School Hour (between services):

  • K–5th graders will enjoy a Pop-Up Party to celebrate moving up a grade

  • Parents & Guardians (birth–5th grade) are invited to the Parent Summit in the Gathering Area:

    • Light breakfast provided

    • Hear exciting Christ Kids updates

    • Walk through our age-specific discipleship plan

    • Learn how we’ll partner with you to grow lifelong faith in your children.
