You found us!
Welcome!
You don't have to be a churchgoer to feel what most of us are feeling right now: the sense that how we're all living online isn't quite right.
Table Talks is a weekly conversation hosted by Christ Church, open to anyone in Birmingham who wants to think seriously about what the digital age is doing to us, and what it might look like to live more humanly inside it.
No prior faith background required. Just a table and an honest question.

What to expect
This isn't a lecture, and there's no presenter at the front with slides. Table Talks are structured discussions — participant-led, round table conversations where everyone brings their own experience and perspective to the question of the week.

Each week dives into a different dimension of the digital world. We're not looking for tidy answers. We're looking to understand figure out, together, how to live wisely in the middle of all of it.

Who it's for
If you've ever felt uneasy handing your kid a phone, wondered whether your newsfeed is shaping your beliefs, or wanted a real conversation about any of this with people who take it seriously — this is for you.

Christ Church has been part of the Birmingham community for decades. Table Talks is our attempt to open the doors a little wider and create space for the kind of conversation that's hard to find anywhere else.
