Not only is ELI Thrive this month's local mission partner, but they are also our Christmas Eve Offering focus! We will be collecting a special offering at both evening services on December 24 for ELI Thrive.
Ministry Update: ELI can give one word to describe what God is doing in their ministry: HOUSING!! They recognize the importance of safe and secure housing to their families and the way that homeownership leads to generational wealth. That has never been more apparent than in these past months. This fall they have closed on the sale of two "Legacy Homes" to families in their programs! Both of these families are first time homeowners. And in October they broke ground on their new Family Housing Initiative. This is their new construction project in the East Lake neighborhood. The pilot project has a goal of building 15 homes in the next 5 years and our first three are now well underway. These houses will be sold to families participating in their program.
